2014 Regional Contractor of the year (CotY) winner in the Residential Bath category. 

 

The National Association of the Remodeling Industry named James Andrus Construction, in Lafayette, Louisiana, 2014 Southern Regional Contractor of the Year (CotY) in the ResidentialBath  category of its annual awards competition. Over 60,000 contractors from seven regions around the country vie for CotY Awards on an annual basis. National winners were announced and honored at NARI's Evening of Excellence reception on Friday, March 28, 2014, at the New Orleans Marriott.  All projects submitted for judging were an improvement or an addition to an existing structure. New construction projects were not  eligible. Competing Projects were completed between July 1, 2012, and November 30, 2013. An impartial panel of judges, experts within the remodeling industry and associated fields, selected winners based on each entrant's binders, which included" before and after" photography and project description. Judging focused on problem solving, functionality, aesthetics, craftsmanship, innovation and degree of difficulty.

2012 Regional Contractor of the Year (CotY) winner in the Whole House Remodeling category 

 

The National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) has named James Andrus Construction in Lafayette the 2012 Regional Contractor of the Year (CotY) winner in the Whole House Remodeling category of its annual awards competition. The winners gathered at NARI's Evening of Excellence on Saturday April 21, 2012 at the Gaylord Texan Hotel, located in Grapevine, Texas. The company's projects included additions, baths, kitchen, finish carpentry, interior and exterior alterations and repair. Contractors from seven regions across the country via for CotY awards each year. Winners were selected by a panel of judges who are experts in the industry and associated fields. Judging was based on problem solving, functionality, aesthetics, craftsmanship, innovation, degree of difficulty, and entry presentation.

 

2010 CotY award 
JAMES ANDRUS CONSTRUCTION Named NARI CotY Winner The NationaL Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) named James Andrus Construction in Lafayette, La, 2010 Regional CotY (Contractor of the Year) winner in the Universal Design category of its annual awards competition.

 

Contractors from seven regions around the country vie from CotY Awards on an annual basis, and all regional winners were eligible for National CotY Awards at NARI's Evening of Excellence on April 10, at the Wyndham Phoenix, Arizona. Most projects submitted for judging were an improvement or an addition to an existing structure. New construction were not eligible. In addition, competing projects were complete between july 1 of 2008 and November 30 of 2009 and were not submitted in prior NARI National contests. Judging for regional awards took place at the Association's national headquarters in Des Plains, Illinois, An impartial panel of judges who are experts within the industry and associated fields, selected winners based on each entrant's "before and after" photography and project description. Judging was based on problem salving, functionality, aesthetics, craftsmanship, innovation, degree of difficulty and entry presentation.  The Evening of Excellence is widely considered to be the premier event of the year in the remodeling industry. It was attended by more than 350 of the industry's elite.

 

Chrysalis Awards

James Andrus Construction, Inc. Wins Remodeling Award Continuing to set new standards of professionalism, 87 remodeling companies from across the United States were named Winners at the seventeenth annual Chrysalis awards for Remodeling Excellence. The winning projects were selected from 475 entries. The entries were judged on overall design, the creative use of space and materials, and the degree to which the project enhanced the original structure. The Chrysalis Awards program began in 1994, recognizes the nation's best work in fifteen general categories of residential and commercial remodeling.

 

1990 Regional CotY Award

1990 NARI REGIONAL COTY AWARDS PRESENTED The National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) recently awarded its Regional Contractor of the Year (CotY) Awards. The CotY Awards were established 1962 as a way to recognize and honor exceptional achievements by the individual contractor, as well as to enhance the image of the professional remodeling industry.

The Award was presented during the 48th Annual NARI Convention/Exposition . James Andrus Construction won the 1990 Southern Regional Contractor Of The Year Award in print media advertising.
